On November 2, 2023, a Zoom conversation was held with Rachel Goldberg, Mother of Hersh who was abducted by Hamas into Gaza. This was an event that was both heartbreaking and important. Hundreds of participants heard about Hersh and prayed for his return, together with all those who have been abducted.

Hersh Goldberg-Polin, a Ramah Darom family camp participant is the son of Ramah Israel learning specialist Rachel Goldberg and Omer Neutra, former staff member of Ramah Day Camp in Nyack.
